The Republic of Suriname Strengthening of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority Information Technology and Telecommunications SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE ATN/ME-10539-SU Project No. SU-M1001 Contract/Bid No. : STRA.C3.G1-01 The Telecommunications Authority of Suriname has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) /the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments under the project Strengthening of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority for acquisition of spectrum equipment.
The Telecommunications Authority Suriname now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the acquisition of a Portable Spectrum Analyzer. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive bidding procedures as specified in the Inter-American Development Bank’s Policies for Procurement of Works and Goods financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (current edition), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the policies. "Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents from the Telecommunications Authority Suriname at the address stated at the end of the document, during office hours 8:30 - 15:30. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be picked up in MS Word format on a CD-ROM at the address below by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below. Interested bidders can also receive bidding documents on the submission of a written request to the email address stated below. The documents will then be sent by email". All bids must be delivered to the address below by 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday July 8, 2009. They will be opened by 12:05 p.m. on Wednesday July 8, 2009, in the presence of bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend, at the address below. Late bids will be rejected.
