De Telecommunicatie Autoriteit Suriname houdt als onafhankelijk orgaan toezicht op de telecommunicatiesector op basis van wet- en regelgeving en introduceert, stimuleert, coördineert en controleert op professionele en objectieve wijze de ontwikkelingen op de geliberaliseerde telecommunicatiemarkt.

Visie

De Telecommunicatie Autoriteit Suriname reguleert en controleert de telecommunicatie-sector op zodanige wijze dat er op de geliberaliseerde telecommunicatiemarkt een situatie ontstaat waarin sprake is van eerlijke concurrentie op het gebied van diensten en tarieven en toegang tot ten minste basistelecommunicatiediensten voor een ieder.

The Telecommunicatie Autoriteit Suriname (Telecommunications Authority Suriname) supervises the telecommunications sector as an independent body on the basis of laws and regulations, and in a professional and objective manner introduces, encourages, coordinates and monitors the developments in the liberalized telecommunications market.

Telecommunicatie Autoriteit Suriname (Telecommunications Authority Suriname) regulates and monitors the telecommunications sector in such a manner that a situation is created in the liberalized telecommunications market in which there is both fair competition in the field of services, rates, and access to at least basic telecommunications services for everyone.
